Born: June 5, 2010

 

Lorelei HM (aka Lily) is a full sister to Destiny's two previous Champion colts, Legendary HM and Legacy HM. Legendary was Champion foal at the Foal show in Hoya German and Legacy was USDF Reserve HOY Weanling Colts/Geldings and AHS Year End Champion Young Colts/Geldings (weanling/yearling). Destiny continues to prove our farms belief that a strong mare line is essential.

 

Lorelei is a typy, feminine filly with uphill, powerful gaits. She shows very good articulation of the joints and a lot of drive from behind. She has received excellent comments and scores every time out.

 

Lorelei has had a great show season as a foal.

Central Maine Dressage Association: Reserve Champion Foal, 2nd place fillies of 2010, (placing behind her stable mate in each class)

Breed Show at Brookside: Champion Foal, 1st place fillies of 2010, 1st place NEDA sweepstakes, High Placing Hanoverian, 2nd place Hanoverian IBC (again only placing behind her stable mate.)

NEDA Fall Festival: Reserve Champion Foal, 1st place fillies of 2010, Winner of Born in USA award, tied for 2nd in NEDA Sweepstakes Final

 

Lorelei finished the year as Year End NEDA Reserve Champion Filly Foal and placed 7th in the USDF Horse of the Year standings, just behind her stablemate, Seraphina.

 

 

   

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  Video shows Lorelei's first trip to a neighboring indoor in February 2012, she had not left our farm since she was weaned in Fall 2010. She was curious about her new environment and easy to handle through out her trip.
