Cadbury ggf, is by Contendro, a Holsteiner with jumping sire genetics of Contender, Calypso
II/Cor de la Bryere. Contendro has proven himself with the production of top quality stallion sons
and successful offspring in the Performance Tests for Young German Jumper Prospects. In 2006/
2007 Performance Tests Top spots were filled with colts and fillies in all divisions. The name
Contendro rose to the top under only Stakkato for these championships. A real plus for the sire is
that he throws not only jumping ability but very good type.
At his registration inspection, Cadbury was scored a 7.9 and declared a Stallion Candidate. At his licensing Cadbury scored 2-9's in jumping for scope an technique, 8 on Breed/Type, 8 on quality of conformation, 8 on the canter, 7 on correctness of gaits, and 8 on Overall impression & development, from German PRPS Verband Judge, Otto Schalter.
At coming 4 years of age, Cadbury is going well under saddle on the flat and over small courses. He has just returned from training at Hilltop Farm, Colora, MD with Michael Bragdell over fences, and under the direction of Christopher Hickey for Dressage/Flatwork. Cadbury will come out on the NE Show circuit with John Lindstedt in 2008 to prepare for the Young Jumpers.
