| Tzigane has proven extraordinary athleticism in two disciplines. As a 5 yr. old, he won the biggest U.S. events - including the Maui Jim Wayne HT and Champagne Run on back-to-back weekends finishing his inaugural year in eventing as ATA HOY Training Champion and USEA Training HOY (5th).
Moved to Jumpers in 2006, Taz was High Training Jumper Champion at his first show and finished the year Modified Jumper Champion @ Lamplight. He finished the year by winning the ATA Jumper Stakes and being named 2006 ATA Preliminary Jumper Champion. In 2007, he was the ATA Open Jumper HOY and in 2008 will move up to Grand Prix.
His foals are winning in hand with scores over 80% - including 2007 ATA Yearling Colt/Gelding Champion, Memeltanz. Nobile, with good bone, excellent feet, long legs, correct top lines and exceptional neck sets characterize offspring. Over 50% are black or black/bay. His first offspring are now under saddle, competing as 3 yo's in dressage with scores at Open Training 4 over 65%; all foals display tremendous work ethic and excellent focus.
